The 8 channel 4 Series NVRs are capable of recording at at 30 frames per second, 4K live display, H 265 recording, and processing speeds of 256Mbps.

This NVR has 8 PoE ports built-in to provide power and information transfer for up to 8 PoE IP cameras.

The has AI abilities that can simultaneously perform 1 channel face detection, 2 channel perimeter protection , and 4 channel SMD capability, all without any built-in camera AI functionality. It's also capable of hosting advanced AI cameras like our ANPR license plate reading camera and heat map features of our fisheye cameras. Supports up to two monitors for multi-screen viewing using 1 HDMI output and 1 VGA output.

MTD8108-AISMD-X

Part of the Peak 3.0 series, the sets the standard for what 4K security should look like. Able to record at 4K or 8MP resolution at 30 frames per second with a 108° field of view. It performs many abilities like color night optics, 100 ft IR LED nightvision, for audio recording, and features like SMD 4.0, , and smart search.

As Montavue's flagship model (8108) this camera will be useful in any situation. Equipped with a hard aluminum body, weather protection, IK10 vandal-proof protection, and a temperature range of -40°F to 140°F, this camera can operate in nearly any location or environment.

IK10 Vandal-Proof

The MTD8108 is equipped with a vandal-proof dome that encompasses the lens which provides the best protection against the elements and anyone that is looking to damage your cameras. IK10 is the highest available rating for any commercially available camera, so you can be assured that it will be resistant to most types of weapons and projectiles.

2TB Included Storage

This package comes with a 2TB hard drive which will be installed prior to shipping. The MNR4208-8P-AI NVR is capable of hosting up to 2x 16TB hard drives for a total internal storage capacity of 32TB.

H.265 is currently the standard for security camera recording because it's efficient and fast. Montavue has advanced this idea with Smart H.265 recording which enables the NVR to conserve more by decreasing the bit rate for objects on screen that are not human or vehicle, this means that all relevant human/vehicle targets will be more clear on screen and the rest will be recorded at a lower bit rate. This ability allows the NVR to use up to 35% less space on your hard drive while still maintaining clear visuals on your recordings.

The MTD8108 has a slot for a micro SD card. These is useful for acting as backup storage if anything were to happen to the NVR or hard drive within, in that event, each camera would have independent recordings on their micro SD card that you could refer to. These micro SD cards can typically record up to 3-4 days worth of video.
